Hot on the heels of his successful SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT REMIX (unreleased as yet but already generating 32,000 plays and rising soundcloud.com/barry_snaith/smells-like-teen-spirit-kurt-cobain-vocals-tij-remix)
The Inconsistent Jukebox is now releasing a series of singles under his alter-ego SHOOT THE WENDY BIRD, with the distinctive Dolll on vocals.
Dolll hails from Las Vegas, has an astounding work ethic, has around 50 songs in the vaults ready to be unleashed on the poor, unsuspecting public. Her instantly recognisable voice has been compared to Gwen Stefani, Beth Gibbons (Portishead), Kate Bush (on acid), Katie Jane Garside (Queenadreena, Daisy Chainsaw), Macy Grey and even Blossom Dearie (look her up)… you get the picture. Lives and breathes music and creativity.
Barry Snaith comes from Wakefield, UK. Equally prolific, sounds just pour out. He produces globally, can count David Lynch and Gary Lucas (guitarist for Jeff Buckley & Captain Beefheart) amongst his fans, and has worked and recorded in the past with The Ramones and with the equally legendary Chrissie Hynde (just now making her first solo album).
